A series of fall birdwatching outings that explore the parks of BPC to see what makes it a choice spot for urban birds and marvelous migrators! For birders of all levels and abilities.
Join anglers from BPCA and the Lower East Side Ecology Center for a night of Fun, Femme Fishing–an inclusive event where new and experienced anglers can build community, explore our waterways, and develop new skills. Battery Park City’s celebration of life in the hudson river estuary

Join experienced anglers for catch-and-release fishing and learn about life in the Hudson River. Get up close to marine life in our Oyster Research Station, make music and join fun fishy-themed games, while learning all about our harbor from visiting environmental education and conservation groups

BATTERY PARK CITY CELEBRATes LIFE IN THE HUDSON ESTUARY
On Saturday, May 30th, BPCA participated in the World Fish Migration Lower Hudson River Fish Count!
Although we didn’t land any catches and the wind was fierce, many people got to experience fishing with friends and family, learned about the creatures that live in the estuary, and build community around Nature!
